Robert came to New Zealand on the 18th October 1862. On the ship "Romulus"
With his cousin George, settled for a time on the Tatarariki Flat region.
Occupation: Store keeper. (Could have been in Barrack Street, Wanganui).
Married: Mary Elliott in St Stephens Church, Auckland, NZ.
Mary came to New Zealand, January 12th 1862 - via Australia from Rosecerea Country Tipperary, Ireland.

Died: Wanganui. Age of 35 years. Cause of death: Diarrhea.
Auckland Star. 22 February 1871.At the Lunatic Asylum, on the '21st instant, Mr. Bobert Lendrum. The funeral will leave his late residence, Barrack street, tomorrow (Thursday), 28rd at 3 o'clock. Friends are invited to attend.
